“ There are certain sections of road that any motor biking enthusiast must ride and mark off their bucket list.

These include:

  •          Sabie to Hazyview  - 44km of concentrated riding on the R536, including the famous section on this road from Sabie to the Kiepersol turnoff – known as the 22 because it is 22 kilometers long and has 76 corners.
  •          The Long Tom Pass – 56km (Lydenburg to Sabie) on the R37 of sheer riding pleasure and cambered excitement along one of South Africa’s most famous mountain passes.
  •          Kowyn’s Pass – the steep gradient of this pass of almost 1000m makes it a most challenging ride.  On the R533 for about 10km coming down the hill from Bushbuckridge or Hazyview, Kowyn’s Pass, this is a road of legends.”
